Frome Cheese Show - Event Review
The
highlight of the show was not The Mangledwurzels,
but celebrity chef Martin Blunos who created what
the organisers hoped to be the World's Most Expensive
Cheese Sandwich (priced at a mere £110.59).
The
BBC were there to capture the event - and also managed
to capture Jethro Tool chatting to
other cheesophiles about the sandwich. The full news
item included a clip of the band performing Shepton
Sheep - and was broadcast every hour from early
Sunday evening until something more interesting happened
late on the Monday morning! The edited version remains
on the BBC
website.
For
the record, The Mangledwurzels had a great day attracting
huge crowds to watch both sets - and are looking forward
to 2011!
