Family Fun Day
An
afternoon event to raise funds for the Breast
Cancer Care Cycle Challenge. Tickets
cost £10.00 in advance and £12.00 on the
day; children up to 12yo get in for free. Please call

Event
starts at 3pm; The Mangledwurzels will be performing
from 4.30pm. As well as the live music, there will
be a bouncy castle, face painting, children’s
competitions with prizes - and a BBQ Buffet all included;
as well as lots more fun and games...
 Breast
Cancer Care Cycle Challenge (9th to 20th October 2010)
South
Petherton local Rachel Benyon will be taking up the
Breast Cancer Care Cycle Challenge
later this year. She will be cycling 525km
from Vietnam to Cambodia in aid of Breast
Cancer Care (Registered charity in England and
Wales no. 1017658).
This
fundraising cycle ride will involve eight days of
cycling across some testing terrain in extremely hot
and humid conditions. She will be cycling anything
between 30 to 100 km per day, depending on the schedule
and weather conditions. Rachel has already embarked
on a comprehensive training plan, cycling for hours
each week to ensure that she successfully completes
the challenge.
Throughout
this year she and husband Darren will be holding various
other fundraising events - including this Charity
Family Fun Day. Each penny counts so any support
will be gratefully received. If you have any questions
