The
Oxjam Bath Music Festival 2009
The
Oxjam Bath Music Festival 2009 will be showcasing
a selection of live music from rock to jazz, country
to reggae, dubstep to folk across eight Bath venues:
Moles, The Bell, Second Bridge, Back to Mine, The
Chapel Arts Centre, Belushi's, The Green Park Brasserie
and St James Wine Vaults. Expect to find loads of
different and upcoming bands as well as After-Parties
in Moles, Back to Mine and Second Bridge. Exchange
your reference number for a wristband on the day of
event allowing you access to five bars, three clubs,
loads of bands, Oxjam Cocktails, discounted meals
and much more.
The
event runs from 5pm to 2am; The Mangledwurzels
will be headlining at The Green Park Brasserie
who will be opening their doors at 7.30pm with The
Mangledwurzels on stage about 9.30pm.

event raising loads of money for Oxfam.
The
Green Park Brasserie occupies the old booking
hall of Green Park Station in Bath, built by the Midland
Railway in 1870 and used jointly with the Somerset
and Dorset Railway from 1874, closed in 1966 and now
magnificently restored. It is located within a quarter
of a mile of the city centre and has the fantastic
advantage of an hour and a half's free parking through
the day. The Braz is dedicated to serving quality
food and wines at reasonable prices in an informal
yet professional style. The ambience is warm, friendly
and lively; the style of cuisine eclectic English.
It is also renown as a quality live music music -
normally specialising in live jazz and acoustic music.
It was Winner of the FSB Award 2009 for Best Use of
Local Organisations, and was Joint Winner of the Bath
Life Award 2009 for Best Restaurant. The owners have
kindly donated the venue to be used as part of OxJam
2009.
